I usually make my images around 1000x1000 Px, sometimes 2000x2000. Sure it changes, but it's always around that size. :3
For sketching I use the Pen Tool sized 10 or 20Px, 0% Min Size and with an oppacity ~60%, sometimes less or more, that changes. When it comes to the outlines, I use the Brush, 4 or 6Px big (max. 10), with 0% Min size and 100% Density, sometimes 95% Density for the details or just because I feel like doing it. xD For the lines the color blending is pretty unimportant, but if you want to color with that tool I suggest to play around with that, the outcome can be really cool. Oppacity mix is 0%, exactly like the Persistance. Keep opacity needs to be marked with a small chop. :3 Below the Density you have two small options, both needs to be set to [None], but I also suggest to make experiments.
